Thoughts become feelings, which become actions, which lead to your behavior.
At the minute your thoughts are negative for you associated to food and exercise - you see it as a chore, a struggle, you enjoy the fatty, high calorie food. This translates into negative actions, and you stay overweight.
Change the Thought, Not The Action
The classic mistake is that everyone tries to change the action - for example; they make a commitment to join a gym.
However they don't work on the root / on the thought. These same negative, self sabotaging thoughts are still under the surface and these are what really determine your actions - so you soon skip the gym, or have a cheat meal and eat your favorite food..
There are some general changes you can make to help in your quest to beating these addictions along with motivational quotes for weight loss. I will share some of my favorite fat loss tricks and tips with you.
1. Drink more water! The hunger and thirst center of the brain will give a hunger signal if you are becoming dehydrated. If you aren’t drinking enough water you may be mistaking hunger for thirst. Drink 2 to 3 litres of water per day.
2. Use chopsticks or smaller knives and forks. This will make you eat slower and the brain will get the message that you have had enough food more quickly.
3. Eat smaller portions at regular intervals. 5-6 small meals per day will help keep blood sugar normal and reduce hunger that leads to overeating.
4. Eat like a thin person. try to stick to 1/3 less calories and fat than the recommended daily amount.
5. Try on your “skinny clothes” once per week. Skinny clothes test will give you a better idea on where you stand with your FAT loss goals.
