Archangels

There are many archangels spoken of and referred to in many faiths across the world. Many of the angels are known by different names or by different spellings. We often refer to Angels as 'He" but they are neither he nor she but androgenous or gender neutral. 

There is a lot of confusion about them in religious and spiritual texts often based upon institutional bias (religions) or personal experiences (spiritualists). The list appears to contain hundreds and possibly thousands of angels as well as "duplicates" (the same angel in multiple locations at the same time).

Here are some of the basics.

There are three distinct choirs of angels.

The first triad, the closest to source consists of Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. These work closest to source.

The second triad consists of the Virtues the Powers and the Dominions. These are the gate keepers between heaven and hell.
The third triad consists of the Principalities, the Archangels and the Angels. These work closest to human kind.

He is the Archangel of Paradise. He teaches the outer consciousness the Power of Light within oneself. He is also described as the Yellow Ray of Wisdom, Illumination, and Constancy. and lists his Archeia (female counterpart/partner) as Christine. He is one of the chiefs of the choir of Cherubim.

Jophiel works to bring beautiful thoughts to people. He is also considered the patron angel of people hoping to discover more joy and laughter to lighten up their lives.
