Turning a Negative into a Positive
Turning a Negative into a Positive
Negative thinking comes from experiencing negative emotions and are primarily responsible for the gradual decline in our normal thinking process. This state overwhelms us and leads to stress, anxiety and worry more than is necessary and normal.
Continuous accumulation of negative emotions within the mind over extended periods of time can badly affect our mental and physical well being.
Some well known negative emotions are:
Negative Emotions
Fear - of failure or risk
Shame – acting in a way that exposes our inadequacies.
Guilt – compromising your own moral standard of conduct (ocd)
Arrogance – overly prideful in achievements
Envy – resentful of others success and wishing it were your own
Jealousy – insecurity over loss of valuables (a valued person)
Greed – desire to possess more than is needed
Phobias – irrational and morbid (extreme) fear of object or situation.
Sloth – laziness, spiritual or emotional apathy
passions – combinations of anger, greed, lust resulting in aggressive behaviors
elation’s – extreme euphoric state resulting in emotional blindness
dysfunctional love – manipulative and controlling behavior
over-enthusiasm – excessive interest or enjoyment
These emotions can be expressed in a variety of ways and generate powerful internal and external effects.
Disturbances in thought patterns over a longer period of time affects the body's rhythms and gradually wears away at us. Imbalances result in our energy system which triggers a sequence of physical or physiological activities and symptoms that ultimately culminates in poor health.
Simple things we could handle before suddenly become more difficult to manage.
A cold, a headache, a late night or a missed meal; is enough to severely alter our behavior.
We may be irritated by far less than usual.
We may feel tearful even at the slightest pressure.
This can be controlled if we could remember the limitations of our innate nature, as well as our innate capacity to alleviate the surge of reigning negative emotions, so as to face the life situations correctly.
Giving up the behavioral negativity is part of the price we pay for awakening. We have to give up something if we wish to make space for something new in our lives. We can hardly be receptive to higher forces when we are busy in criticizing or quipping others.
Purging Negative emotions from the core of our psyche with proper timing is the most crucial decision we can make in our lives.
Removing negative thinking is one half of the process of personal change we encourage.
Some steps to take to help in cleansing and clearing at home and/or work.
Clearing
Negative Energy In Your Environment:
Smudging your home with sage.
2. Doing Meditation and taking deep breaths.
3. Strategically placing bowls of sea salt in your home to protect you from entrance of negative energy. The salt acts as an absorbent to negative energy.
4. Using protective stones and crystals. Some good protective stones that repel negative energy are Onyx and Obsidian. While Amber and black tourmaline acts more like absorbers. And Amethyst is considered a healing stone. So you may also want to consider wearing protective stone jewelry. (Just remember to clean the stones regularly with sea salt and water.)
5. Physically clean the place. This removes the old energy and keep the place in high vibration.

Ok so there's a few more than 10 but there are many dozens of positive emotions often linked and reinforcing to each other.
Replacing these negative emotions with positive ones reinforces beneficial change and self empowerment.
To start this process you should embrace one or more of the following steps.
Elevating
Your Personal Energy and Grounding Yourself:
1.
Take a nice warm shower.
2. Take a nice bath using Epsom Salt.
Epsom Salt is to help you cut the psychic connection with others so
that they are no longer pulling you. Plus, it helps your tired body
relax.
3. Use essential oil or scent such as lavender, eucalyptus,
rosemary, etc. to calm and relax yourself.
4. Get a nice
massage.
5. Meditate
6. Going outside for some sun.
7. Doing
any type of physical activities that will help you stay grounded in
your body. (e.g. Yoga, Tai Chi, martial art, jogging, boxing,
exercise, or some kind of sports you enjoy, etc.)
8. Get some
fresh air.
9. Connect with nature.
10. Going to ocean, forest,
or mountain area also helps you rejuvenate.
11. Surrounding
yourself around plants or trees of high energy.
12. Drink pure
water. (Bless your water with positive energy before drinking it. And
remember to thank it for purifying your body as you drink it.)
13.
Eat proper balance nutritious meals.
14. Feel your emotions.
15.
Take care of yourself.
Having a well-balanced nature, and a rational or optimistic attitude towards life leads to positive self-image and in turn, satisfying relationships with friends and others. Please remember, your innate nature and general behavioral traits dominates your thoughts, feelings, and mental make-up that affect your overall life.
Having emotionally balanced nature and pragmatic attitude help you make good decisions and deal with life's challenges at home and workplace. We cannot learn to swim if we fall in the sea during a storm.
We must learn to “swim in calm waters”. Then perhaps if we fall in we'll be able to swim.
Obviously, dealing with negative emotions becomes easier when we see the result of implementing positive emotions.
