Personal Chakra
The ancient system of Reiki simplifies and classifies the body into 7 energy centers called Chakras. These are described as spinning vortexes of energy that reflect and rule your physical and emotional states.
These Chakras are aligned from the base of the spine up to the top of the head loosely following the spinal column.
The Chakras are known individually as:
The Root – red in color – this is the Base and gives us our drive and determination in life.
The Sacral – orange in color – this is the Sexual Energy Centre as well as creativity.
the Solar Plexus – yellow in color – this is the Stomach Chakra controlling our physical well-being
The Heart – green in color – this is our Emotional Centre
The Throat – blue in color – this governs our Communication and wisdom
The Brow – indigo in color – also known as the Third Eye and governs our intuition and leadership
The Crown – violet in color – this indicates Spiritual Connections as well as imagination
There are also other meanings attached to each Chakra and how each one interacts with us.
We are going to focus upon the individual Power Centre or personal Chakra.
There are schools of thought that link powers to each Chakra and link them to the star signs or simplify them to just the 7 centres listed above.
It is true that each Chakra reflects and rules part of us.
Its more complicated and more simple than that.
There are many other colors attached to us that mix together to create our aura.
Gold, white, pink, black, silver, grey, brown. These are also part of our aura and part of our personal Chakra power.
Add together these colors and the number of power centres starts to climb.
Here's where it gets complicated:
Each color has multiple shades.
For example red varies from pale through to deep, fire, rustic, carmine, scarlet, crimson claret right up to deep red. This is just a sample.
Each color has dozens of shadings that have different meanings individually and when combined together produce a unique Aura.
The grouping together of these different colors and shades produces 2 distinct auras. Your inner and outer aura.
Your inner Aura is a result of your mood and emotions at that moment and so can fluctuate very quickly.
This is not your Personal Chakra or Primary Chakra Power.
Your outer Aura contains a mix of colors that are created from birth influenced by environment and experience and are also slow to change (blocked).
We all develop character traits that are hard to change although over time we can.
This is where your primary Chakra power is based and this is where it gets simple.
We are all unique and individual. Hence our Aura is unique and individual.
Our Personal Power Chakra therefore is also unique and individual.
By looking at your shading we are able to see your character traits and personality as they have become as a result of genetics (birth) your environment (school, family, friends) and your experiences (trauma, relationships, health).
