Cosmic Noises

Not a sound. The universe sleeps, resting a huge ear on its paw with mites of stars – Vladimir Mayakovsky (1893-1930)

What I dream of is an art of balance, pf purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter... a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue – Henri Matisse (1869-1954)

Cosmic Noise

Cosmic noise is described on Wikipedia as Random noise that originates outside Earths atmosphere. It can be heard and detected on Radio receivers.

Although Space is a virtual vacuum, this does not mean there is no sound in space.

Most Cosmic noise is considered to be a relic of the big bang as well as the noise meteors and asteroids make as they travel through atmospheres creating friction which produces sound waves.

This sound is almost universally detected anywhere in the universe and remains one of the biggest mysteries of space scientists and astronomers. When researchers pointed their equipment towards space studying Stars and looking for planets around those stars they discovered a mysterious noise that made their research more difficult.

Sound does exist as electromagnetic vibrations.

My Theory:

The universe is a vast and uncharted environment. Discoveries are being made constantly and the science is evolving. Most background noise in the universe is measurable and its origins theorized. Some origins have been proven. Most sound appears to be mainly a side effect of the vast changes the universe has been through since its creation. A lot of the sounds are seemingly at a level that is consistent with background frequencies that can be artificially generated. There are some noises that remain Undefined and Unexplained that are outside the frequencies of these low level emissions.

Conclusion:

While most can be explained by theory science is not yet evolved enough to measure and explain through factual evidence. There is no Spiritual Origin proven or dis-proven.

You can listen to sounds of the universe on YouTube or at various sites.

The Hum

This is a phenomenon, or collection of phenomena, involving a persistent and invasive low-frequency humming, rumbling, or droning noise not audible to all people. Hums have been widely reported by national media in the Uk and the United States.

A significant proportion of hearers experience great distress from the Hum, ranging from ear pain to headaches to sleeplessness and nausea. Like any noise complaint it is a nuisance, often serious enough to affect quality of life.

There are a number of theories about location specific hums.

My Theory:

Sound is the result of vibrations. Vibrations travel through matter and water and as they do they change. These sound vibrations encounter other sound vibrations and they interfere with each other. There is also a resonance effect where sounds generate a physical response as the waves travels through objects and matter. This results in a Hum. The frequency of these hums is so low that most people cannot hear. Some people are lucky (unlucky) to have super sensitive hearing outside normal hearing ranges. Life can be difficult for them living in areas where there is a low level Hum.

Conclusion:

Most Hums are man made or naturally occurring (earth made) and have no Spiritual origin.

If you hear a location specific noise you should make people aware of it on forums such as:

What we will talk about now in this article are the sounds that are heard outside of these background noises.

Electronic voice Phenomena

Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are electronically generated noises that resemble speech, but are supposedly not the result of intentional voice recordings or renderings. Common sources of EVP include static, stray radio transmissions, and background noise. Recordings of EVP are often created from background sound by increasing the gain (i.e. sensitivity) of the recording equipment.

Interest in EVP surrounds claims that it is of paranormal origin, though there are natural explanations including apophenia (finding significance in insignificant phenomena), auditory pareidolia (interpreting random sounds as voices in one's own language), equipment artifacts, and hoaxes.

My Theory:

There are many natural explanations including our own desire to hear something which can bias the scientific objectivity of any testing or research. Some interesting research exists especially the Scoles Experiments and Direct voice experiments conducted by Leslie Flint. None of these experiments have been subject to rigorous scientific testing and have to be taken somewhat on faith. There are many unexplained phenomena in these recordings. It is impossible to verify completely but I for one have experienced physical phenomena and heard sounds/voices that are not from man made sources. I believe there is sufficient evidence to investigate this phenomena further.

Conclusion:

There is sufficient evidence and personal experience for me to conclude that some of this is the work of Spirit communicators.

Sounds of Spirit Communication:

As we all know, sound is the product of vibration moving through our environment, whether the air, or through another medium (i.e. structures, water, etc), and ultimately becoming sound waves. It is the interaction between the vibrational medium (air, water, etc.) and the receiving device (whether the ear or a tape recorder) that creates sound. In this interaction there are typically believed to be three elements; the source of the vibration, the vibrational medium and the receiver; but what if we consider that the vibration itself is another independent element in this equation?

Has anyone experienced clicking or other sounds in their ear? Typically only one ear at a time?

The brain is a wonderfully complex neural machine. There is a lot we do not understand about it. We are in control and sometimes it is in control of us. Certain phenomena exists that is a result of misfiring of chemical neurons in our brains. Sometimes disease or hereditary conditions. A lot of sound is heard by one individual but not the person standing next to him/her. There is a lot of research conducted under strong scientific conditions that explains much of what is heard or misheard by the brain.

Certain medical conditions can be found in subjects who hear voices. Conditions such as Apophenia or Pareidolia. When we want to hear something we create it ourselves.

I find much of the official research makes sense to my scientific mind. There are many organizations that are researching this today and information is freely available online.

A substantial number of programs, movies and documentaries exist that cover this subject. There is also a $1million reward from the JREF organization for conclusive proof of Spirit communication. It has remained unclaimed for many years.

Having heard what seemed like voices and noises myself from listening to recordings of background noise I have tried to make sense of them. Is it me or is it from elsewhere?

My partner Miggin hears singing and music when she listens to the same recordings and I wish I could hear the same.

My Theory:

Physics and Psychology explain much of the sounds we hear or interpret. I find no conclusive proof either way to dispute the science of this phenomena. I am as skeptical of this phenomenon as many others and I await the day that proof exists conclusively.

Conclusion:

Belief in EVP is a matter of personal choice. I believe it exists and I believe some of it is Spirit communication.

Be Open to new experiences and some will come to you :)
